About the
2010 Philadelphia
GLBT Arts Festival
It
is Tap's great pleasure to celebrate the second annual Philadelphia Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Arts
Festival.
The
festival is a showcase of multidisciplinary works created or
presented by GLBT artists and their straight allies.
GLBT
Artists face challenges that often prohibit them from advancing
their careers and appealing to a wider audience. This festival
seeks to address these challenges by promoting social change and
providing support for this beautiful and unique group.
For
the first time in
Philadelphia
history, there is a festival that integrates all of the fine and
performing arts with a focus on demonstrating the magnificent
creativity of the GLBT community.
